The AGP Iron systems built in this time period with 200SBi's were generally available with either a Viper 550 or ATI Rage Pro 8MB, later a Viper 770.

A system with a GX motherboard would use the onboard Cirrus Logic chipset for 2D of course.

I went for the Viper 550 as it was closer in date to the other parts of the system and the driver disc was shown in the manual-

Mercury required for that, though some of the Iron systems were suppose to do edge AA rather then full screen. Still investgating that aspect, all 3dfx boards are suppose to do edge AA but there is a performance impact of course.
