It was difficult with v3 even with max payne 1.

well, i could play both games on my voodoo5 5500...but i really don't think it works on a voodoo3 who has much less hardware options. anyway, it would be too slow --> low video ram

I had no problem to run it on voodoo2 (and it looked great :))

Max Payne 2 runs very well on v5 (I play in 800x600 fsaa 2x with highest detail except post-processing, cubemapping and effects usings shaders)
so if it were'nt for the 32bits crap it could run well on v3

The mentioned problem with V3 and MaxPayne 1:
I see no reason for which the Voodoo card wouldn't be able to run properly MaxPayne. I know that on a Voodoo Banshee this game ran very well, the only visual problems being the 256x256 texture limit (visible during game loading screens), and lack of multitexturing. Otherwise I see no reason why the V3 would run MaxPayne with low performance.

For MaxPayne 2, as far as I know the game engine hasn't changed too much, and I don't know if someone tried to run MaxPayne 2 with 3DAnalyze for the V3.
