Hi,
I got a few days ago my first Quantum3D card, Obsidian X24.
Well, the problem is that the sistem does not start with the card pluged into the PCI slot.
I tested the card in 2 different sistem, on a nforce4 SLI board and on the Epox 8K5A2.
The post message from the Epox card is 25, whitch is reserved . ? ! No beeps, nothing..sistem freeze...
I changed also the PCI slots, on both sistems.
The card did'nt get hot. On the backside of the card there is a voltage regulator whitch seems to work poperly. ( input 5 V, output 12V - measured values. )
On the front side, top left, there is a Jumper J6 witch is not used...what is the purpose for this jumper.
Need help !

If the card isn't getting hot then something is wrong, it should warm up pretty quick just powering up the board.

You could try taking the daughtercard off and see if it works in single card mode.

Something to try, perhaps the daughtercard went bad.

the same behaviour with and without the daughter board.
nothing get hot on the card...that is wierd....there are no damaging to see on the board...everything seems to be ok.
