Hehe, you gotta check this out.
Today i fired up my Voodoo 2 SLI Testing system and when i launch any 3d app the system speaker of the mainboard (Gigabyte BX board) makes strange sounds... but this is only with V2 SLI.... when i use a GF2MX there is nothing... what the hell are theese voodoos trieng to say me? ;D here is a link of the video... you have to scroll down, click on the "Free"-Button and wait a minute until download is ready. then you have to enter the 3 digits that appear on a small image to start the download http://rapidshare.de/files/26969649/MOV02944.MPG.html |

Just some info that might help me figure this out... ;) BIOS ID string (Google for BIOS Wizard - use this program to get the info) BIOS Type (Phoenix, Award, AMI, etc...) Mainboard model number (I know it's a Gigabyte, but which one) |

Does it sing to you if it is only one Voodoo2 card (non-SLI)?

maybe it's a conflict with your sound card, otherwise put the sound card in PCI slot number 5 and the Voodoo2's in slot 2 and 3 and the network card in slot4, that combination alwuys helped me :)

no i do not think that its the sound card, because the sound doesnt come from the sound system but from the onboard mainboard speaker!

ah what about disabling the speaker ;) might sound abit simple but I'm sure it would get rid of the S.O.S. calles from teh speaker ;D
