Hm, I do own OpenOffice V1.1.4, but indeed not everyone owns those pricey MS Office suites.

Such lists would be better offered in a non-proprietary .txt or .rtf Format, so everyone can read it without a 1000$ piece of Software.

Uhm, 1000 bucks, uhm, okay.... Grin

But if I'd place it in a txt or rtf format, the file would become long and unclear.

Off course, putting it all in a SQL database on the internet would be nicer Smiley

hey nitrox

we're going for a new gallerie on 3dfx.ch which includes all 3dfx cards (coding in progress) is it possible to combine this gallerie with your list ? so we can build a php based database which includes all these cards and it's even up to date for everyone Smiley

You can use the list to start it off if you want.
I'd add some more fields to the database though, like revision numbers, production dates, memory brands, etc.
(A comment field might be a good thing too, so whoever alters it can add a comment if neccessary)

Company names should be selected through a drop down menu so you don't end up with ten's of variations of a company name Cheesy

That way you can get a more complete oversight Smiley

Though I'd only give a few trustworthy people rights to edit it, otherwise some jokester might ruin it all.

A small update to the list.
Obi Wan finally explained the difference between Skywell's regular and plus versions, so that's fixed. Most of the other updates can be found in the V2 section and the rest in the VG section.

Sorry, no V5 section yet.

This page has some additional information on the Creative Labs cards:

http://us.creative.com/support/identifyproduct/

For example, this page lists Model CT6630 and Model 6751 which are not listed specifically in the spreadsheet.

Be carefull with what you want to put in your list.

Quote:
- Rev.A2 2600 with 6ns ram

It would be unlogical that this exits but it could be possible offcourse. I would search for one first.

I do know about an A2 with 5.5 ns memory though.

Quote:
- Rev.A3 3500

This is a mistake by Sirta: It must be 3400 like all the others Wink

Quote:
- Rev.A 3600

I read about a guy who got 2 v5 6000's for Christmas and he stated one was dated 3600. I would leave it out if I was you but Im not implying that it does not exist either...ive seen stranger things Tongue (he also claimed the other was 3000 dated)

Oh well I wrote only the date number known to my nollage.

the Rev.A 3600 was real I saw it at the Voodoo5 6000 Resource group once, but it could of been mistaken with a Rev.A 3700 ofcourse, but sorry about the Rev.A3 3500 never knew that.

No difference between these two PCB, if you look at the comdex board the location for the second connector is there.
