Hi all!

I am a 3dfx collector from Hungary. Here is very hard to find the rare cards, but I have this interesting V2 in my collection. It is a card named PowerColor G3DFX2 and it has new 3dfx logos on all three chips. The other curiosity is, that it has RAM modules only on the front side of the card, the back side is empty :)

That is a late Voodoo II. The chips have a higher density than the RAM chips on a regular Voodoo II.

Several people on this board have such a card.

but your card have a Ti RAMDAC. most cards with new log(s) have a ICS

I've been watching your page quite some time, nice cards u got.

I actually got a SLI pair with new logo TMUs (bruces) on both cards about 1 week ago. :)

this picture i found in the www .......
i have two (boxed) with new logo BEs and one with 3 new logos ::)
and one PowerColor from 1998, not called evilking. looks like the box is from a other card, on the side are AGP and SG-RAM logos

hmm you pics didn't seem to be working that fast, so I have uploaded them with imageshack.us and now they work lot's faster ;) so here are Yah pics 8)

Look nice, the newer post 3dfx logo's give the Voodoo2 a whole new look morely modern :)

collecting nvidia & 3dfx cards? nv - 3dfx...doesn't fit IMO...

of course...i accept it...for me it is impossible to collect nvidia cards...

@tm30: bla...nvidia bought 3dfx...so nvidia is evil...simple and plain :P

I wouldn't feel bad towards them if they just continued driver support on the 3dfx products. I was just a bit P.O. that I couldn't get updated drivers after the acquisition.

Thanks, it seems that the Hungarian server isnt't too fast :)

I respect 3dfx maximally for revolutionizing the 3D acceleration in the PCs. But today, nVidia is my favourite :)

same on ATI... don't expect driver updates for XGI Cards.

Support was left up to 3dfx, NV just purchased core assets.
