Title: STB 3dfx V2 1000 PCI - Memory Differences
Post by ania3Dfx on 19.12.10 at 10:26:36
I have 3 STB 3dfx V2 1000 PCI cards but one is different to the other two.

Two have 24 memory chips (12 front, 12 back) and they have the code: V53C16258HK25.
But the third card only has 12 chips on the front and NOTHING on the back.  Its code is: V53C819HK25.

Is it safe to assume that the 3rd card has 1Mb memory chips, whereas the first two have 512Kb?

Pozdrawiam,

b = bit
B = byte

So assuming you mean B and MiB/KiB instead of MB/KB, you're right. ;)
