This idea just popped into my head:

Suppose you had two complete computers.  

the first is the actual main rig, now instead of using the main rig;s vid card, you hook the card from the frst rig it up to an outlet cable which in turn hooks to a card in the second rig.  the second rigs entire use would be to be a huge gfx card.  Let me explain; all slots or nearly all the slots should contain vid cards (3dfx preferably...LOL).  One caed perhaps separate to use a monitor to keep check of the second rig's stats and stuff.  All the other cards should be hooked in a chain with the final one being the outlet to the monitor being used by the main rig.  What do you think?  Is it a neat idea, or am I off my rocker?  lol
