Hm..
This is a very new Addition on voodoofiles I see. So far, I haven't heard of, or read any feedback about it... From what I read in the description, however, I am at least quite suspicous about the claims posted there ::) All it says is that it runs under Glide, which won't help OpenGL or Direct3D. The fact, that it is unified for 'most 3dfx Cards' just increases my doubts against this package... My best guess is, that this isn't a very good alternative to the existing Drivers; but that's only a guess... Greetings FalconFly |

Hmmm....
I still prefer to rely on most solid (and well known) drivers for the moment. Guys outta there are doin' an HELLUVA good job keeping this rocking cards alive. CheerZ, Fuz! Heya FalconF, your bb seems to populate quite rapidly. Keep your great work going, man! |

Indeed, this "Driver's" description makes it look like some 'generic' Driver, that cannot possibly reach the same performance and compatibility seen in the latest reference or 3rd party, dedicated Drivers.
I don't know what's behind those packages, but they don't read like they could work better than the existing Drivers ::) About the Board : We'll just wait and see how things develop ;) Since it probably won't take alot or space or traffic on the server, it'll hopefully stay just as long as the Archive itself (which has no limit in my mind) :) Greetings FalconFly |
