Okay Hello all here we go then, all I need is some Ideas to get this one rolling

I have been installing UT 1999 on all of my PC's so I can join in all of the time, who is willing to run a server? since I have no experience by doing that.

We also need to plan a date so we all can join in and play like for a an hour or more

I was suggesting the following games based on Unreal Engine 1.0

Unreal ver 2.26
Unreal Tournament Game Of The Year Edition Ver 4.36 1999
Operation Na Pali Mod for UT 1999

If there are any other ideas, well bring em on I'd say! 8)

If you people decide to do such a meeting please make it before 8 of May....I m leaving for my army service on that day

hehe great to hear you like the idea, I did think about it for some time, but since we all live sooooooo far away from each other I thought about a good 3dfx game and these Unreal titles did give me the perfect sollution.

We can just relax @ home behind our very own machines and still we can meet in 3D and yes in Glide, Open GL or Direct3D so it does not matter what Graphics Accelerator you have you can always take part of a game, even S3 Svage 3D, Savage4 and Savage 2000 users can use the S3 MeTaL API

This way we all can join in one game at the same time, it's cost efficiant as well

but for the time being we need a server for the game, since I can't make a server because of power costs and so on we'll need sombody else for that problem.

All what we can do is wait, unless FalconFly comes up with a bright idea Wink

I have only UT'99 GOTY. I'd have to host it on my laptop though, without 3dfx If only 3dfx made some voodoo's for PCMCIA...
