Basically this Driver was apparently more or less ready, but after Creative announcing it, 3dfx threatened to sue Creative if they were to actually release it to public.
(at that time, Glide basically had a monopoly, most games were released for it and some were even Glide only)

As far as I know, it was never released and also never leaked.

As it is, non-3dfx owners are still limited to the known Glide Wrappers, which are not that bad (and basically do the same that this Driver was supposed to do).

this Gide program from Zeckensack aak a friend of dborca has one of the best working Glide programs for non-3dfx based Hardware:
http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/archive/GlideWrapper084c.exe

here some info and an in program screenshot:

Usage and configuration

As you're reading this, you should have already run the wrapper installation, so you're basically good to go. A lot of Glide games should be running just fine with the default settings. For a list of tested games, see below. You should, however, fire up the configurator at least once and set a "resolution limit".

The configurator can do a lot more, though. You'll be able to configure global settings and application specific overrides for games you've run at least once (or I've run at least once; I've supplied a premade config that already "knows" a few titles).
...

it would be wise to read this page also:
http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/readme.htm#games

there is only one problem-you need a radeon or geforce card if you want to use zeckensacks glide wrapper.for nvidia tnt,try dgvoodoo glide wrapper, but I'm not sure if tnt2 has enough power to emulate glide at acceptable speed.

I tried it with Turok and Unreal and it worked perfect with a GF3Ti200.

I just hope zeckensack will add multitexturing support soon..and perhaps the ability to render glide apps in window.LCDs suck (mainly the ones in my work office Tongue).

so Multitexturing is needed for only TFT support, I thought that that was a 3D feature  Lips Sealed
