the only difference is that one card has the connector for amethyst daughterboard, the other not... (plus the card with the A. connector has 75Mhz RAM, the other one only 60Mhz, but i think that doesnt matter, because both have SM81C256K16A1 written on the modules)

are both cards SB50-2200 Obsidians ?

but why is the amethyst connector missing on that one card?

I think the Amethyst Connector was optional, but had no effect on the imprinted PCB (hence the stickers to indicate the final version, which may differ a bit depending on final state of the PCB).

i just did not see this card pictured on garys page so i asked myself whats about it ;)
