this is most of my v3's, i got a couple more in transit and of course there are those real hard to get one's i may never get. this week im mounting em on plexiglass but i thought i'd show you now cause im moving and might not be on the net for awhile.

note: the first 2 3500's where picked for there odd ram too, 1st one has 6ns ram, 2nd one 5ns ram

does the 6ns v3 3500 have bios version 2.15.07?

2.15.07 is a strange bios coz the original clocks are 166/166 instead of 183/183! this could be the answer....

I do remember that there is a Quantum3D Vantana Voodoo3 3500 with 6ns RAM and it has a core/mem speed of 166Mhz also.

p.s. lucky for me Gary came to these forums because he hunted many of these harder to get cards down  and i got lucky and bought some of his extrta's

no, no boxes, i collect just cards and cd, my plan is to have my collection on wall above my computer so i can see them all the time, thats what makes me happy, but i do love the box art.

I myself prefer Banshee cards - they're like the 'odd man out' sort of as they are kind of like a cross breed between a single V2 and a half a V3...hmm... ::) :P

One is my personal board of course, the other one is set aside for intresting trade.

paulpsomiadis, i like the banshee alot too, space and money are my biggest concern when collecting 3dfx items because of that i picked the cards i liked most, i really had no idea when i started there would be this many but i really couldnt be happier.

It's a coil. Not uncommon. Motherboards and I believe most high-end graphic cards have them too.
