We wish a nice day to all the users of 3dfx.

We know very well that most of you appreciate and use newer, unofficial driver versions in these times (Amigamerlin, Koolsmokey).

For 3 months, Beyond Dreams is offering an alternative to the above well known drivers.

Because too few know the requirements to use these drivers, we present them here.


Requirements:

Windows 98SE (a must, although it could run on Me or 95 as well, BUT NOT ON WINDOWS NT/2000/XP)

Voodoo Banshee/ Voodoo 3 (most of the tests run on these), Voodoo 4,5

128 Mb of RAM, CPU of over 400Mhz, AMD 3Dnow! optimization used, along with MMX superset (alone enhances speed by over 5fps).


Why to choose Beyond Dreams?

We don't admit that our drivers will perform always better than the Amigamerlin, neither that there will be no bugs or problems. What we now for sure is that the tests conducted came to the some good results with the games we tested.

While other driver manufacturers have focused on making drivers with less bugs and more features, our main goal was to ensure that you can benefit the most from the very good quality and improved speed that was needed. Our driver focuses on quality and speed, thus giving you an image quality that you were mostly unaware of until now.

Because most of the 3dfx users enjoy the good games (Unreal,NFS,Quake,TestDrive,GTA 2), we ensure that you will have a very nice surprise in these games.


What this driver is not

It will not solve your problems with GTA3 and Voodoo3, NFS HP2 and Voodoo Banshee/Voodoo3, Unreal 2003. If you are having this kind of problems it is likely that our driver will not help you too much.

Also, this driver is not designed for Windows 2000/XP, and it will not work in there. If you are having problems with games under these OS's, we can't help you too much, we can give only advices, but limited to the area of solving the problem.

Also, support for newer games under Windows 98SE or any other system is not a place in which we can help too much, as we focused on making the best out of the good, old games, the things you are mostly likely to enjoy if you own a Voodoo.


Very good results:

NFS3,4,5 (both in quality and speed, the name of the driver set, which shows that in here you can see the biggest impact)
Quake 2,3 (best balance quality/speed)
McGee Alice (very good quality, more speed)
Test Drive 5 (very good speed)
