Strange ASUS X800XT PE AGP card

While I was looking around on the net I came acros this strange cooler based ASUS X800 XT Platinum Edition AGP:

and if you compare that with the this model, the model we all know:

As you can see ASUS changed the cooler quite alot, could it be that the one I showed forst is the prototype or Pre-Production model of the ASUS AX800XT Platinum Edition AGP ?

ASUS was going to install an self-designed cooler on X800XTs and had some issues with ATI regarding it. For X800Pro they used original ATI design but i'm not sure if they came to agreement about XT model at the end. Anyway, my ASUS X800XT AGP press sample had ASUS cooler as pictured above but I don't know if this was a normal stock solution or just a small bunch of press cards.
