Well I was scrolling through ebay.com today and I came across these two well known proto's

3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB SGRAM

3dfx Voodoo4 4500 PCI +DVI 32MB SDRAM for PC and not MAC.

I have the feeling that there may have been more of these cards and they were recklessly sold to retailers. Angry

That's a bad way of treating 3dfx proto's, okay I don't have one yet, but this is a sad thing to see sometimes.

yeah therefore, be'n sure about it that they are real as they a shown on ebay would be a good advice.

And If they are, who used to be the real owner of so many proto's?

Do you thing that Cray has something to do with this one, or just another ex-3dfx employee?

It looks like I sold both of mine just in time. This will surely drive the price down for you guys though. Even if he has 10, are they not still "rare". I would think so but I guess I see your point. It would be nice to see if even one of these works properly in 4X mode though. So far, none of the 5k's that I have seen did.
