Voodoo 1 and WinXP
26.06.06 at 19:54:12
Hello everyone.
I have and old Trust Voodoo Dragon PCI (Its Voodoo 1).
I had the IceMan's driver when I had Win2000. But now I upgraded to WinXP and found a driver with no OpenGL/Direct3D.
I tried the Windows 2000 driver... but Windows didn't like it
Is there any OpenGL drivers for WinXP? I looked at MesaFX and WickedGL but according to their readmes, they dont support Voodoo 1... :/

Hmm... This is just the one I've tried.
In its readme.txt
Important Note:
1: There will be no official nor any unofficial Drierct3D Acceleration drivers
nor OpenGL drivers under Windows2000/XP.
For now it just unofficial Glide drivers support.
Maybe there just isnt OpenGL drivers then

I got it form Falconfly's 3dfx archive
Anthony's basic Glide/OpenGL only capable Driver
Contains NO Direct3D or other functionality...
See readme file for details and instructions...

I`ve tried this one, but none of them works with my monster3D
bud, there`s no way to run a V1 succesfully on WinXP
My V1 is in a box waitin for a driver that runs on XP

!!!HOLY GOD IN A HANDBASKET!!!
Definately an interesting thread there @ps47...
If anyone wants a heads-up, it seems that the 3Dfx madman @Colourless has released Voodoo 1 drivers for x64. 8)
Shame I'm still running 32bit AthlonXP or I'd test them!
