Hmm Maybe I have a few you might be interested in. To name a couple I have a Ti overdrive chip the fits over the top on an intel 386 and turns it into a 486 50MHz. (fully functional). And I have a NexGen like the one in your personalize picture (special nexgen mobo required).

Ohhhhhhhhh, NexGens are my favorite chips
Do you want to sell it with the mobo maybe? I have a whole NexGen section:
http://www.alphatek.info/nexgen/
but it's in french.

Do you collect
only
x86 ?
If not, I might have some CPU's around that I don't need anymore.
(DEC Alpha 21164-433, MIPS R4000, R4400, R5000)
I also own some 30-40 older x86 CPU's, but you'll likely have those already...

I try only to collect x86 CPUs because it's already a big domain
But I also own some Alphas and I have a fully working PC164LX + EV56 533 based Alpha system working. But as I say, NexGens are the "graal" for me, they mean something very special to me.

In fact I've never seen the mobo that goes with these LCC (Leadless Chip Carrier) packaged chips, but as the name suggests, there is a high chance that they had an LGA775-type connector.

I just took a look at my "new" PC and found the CPU was a x86 you don't have in your collection.
Are you interested in it?

Nice CPU collection. One of my favourite CPU's is my Harris 80286 @ 20MHz
. I see you've got one too
.
About this CPU :
There are a few CPU's which use this packaging. My question is, how to install this CPU :?
It doens't have any pins to hold on so do you have pictures of the socket on the motherboard :?
Maybe it has the same system as LGA775 ?
that's an Intel 80186 CPU @ 6Mhz
from 1982

I also still have my NEAT (New Enhanced AT) mainboard with an Harris 20MHZ (25 when turbo button pressed). I remember the tons of options like hardware EMS and stuff. And pressing INSERT while resetting after misconfiguration to restore default BIOS values. Too bad that i 'converted' the sim's (those with pins) to normal sim's (so they fit in my 486) so i only have the normal 1MB onboard (in single chips) on the NEAT mb.

Andreas

Don't plug more than 128MB in your EPoX Obi-Wan
Could it be that Descent 3 (just downloaded the demo) uses the same engine as FreeSpace 2 and Red Faction? Configuration looks so similar but i don't find anything on volition-inc.com.
Regards,
Andreas

well I won something really old, 2 Dino-Rider's Retail 100% complete
from the ICE AGE series, that's the final phase in collections of the Dino-Rider series. they are authentic 1/24 scale models, so infact i declare them as models and not toys , oh well, they do have tons of detail.
here my 2 new additions to my 29 part Dino-Rider collection:
Dino-Riders ICE AGE Killer Warthog with Zar:
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=8625&item=6172718453&rd=1
Dino-Riders ICE AGE Saber Tooth Tiger with Kub:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5970698803&ed=1114817620000&ss...
and man I am happier than even I have been looking for more that 15 to 16 years for these two models!!! they are extreemly rare
When they arrive I will surely make a hole photography of my whole 31 part Dino-Rider collection

pretty nice Obi-Wan,
I collect trains (american flyer) from the 50's and also so real train items, one train item i collect is track, i have 4 pieces about 1 foot long, 1) original red car track pulled up out of l.a. in the 60's..... 2) piece of modern main line..... 3) piece from mine from the 40's...... 4) piece from mt. lowe dated 1888, hard to get since this railroad was long gone by ww1, out of buss. and scraped for war effort, researched the railroad and read about wash out down the mountain in the 1920's range, found the spot and there was my rail, got it 29 years ago
also i collect disney metal lunch pails, got abut 12 different ones. ah thats it
things id like to collect are the old 10 cent pinball machines, i have one but i live in a studio appartment and one is already to many lol
