did anyone know for what the 6pin connector or maybe jumper is?
its on all Q3D V2 also the 2440 arcade version http://www.tdfx.de/pic/obsidian2_90-2440_05.JPG down direct on the PCI connector the x24/16 have also one near the TV-out the agp direct on the medusa |

did you know what the xlinx chip do on the board if i understand right this chip can do anything, like a CPU |

Correct- On Quantum3D they were used for hardware security and identification. |
