Title: artifacts, visual glitches and texture corruption Post by VDX on 25.06.03 at 05:09:53
Hello all :)
My voodoo5500 has little white lights in the middle of the screen when i run 2001se test @ 200, the card doesnt have the problem @ 195, what id like to know is are white lights a form of which of the following - -artifacts, visual glitches or texture corruption, Reason im asking is i want to know if its a memory problem or the chip so i know where to adjust my cooling 8) p.s. I feel the need for speed, this card needs to reach 200 and beyond :o, i can feel it ;D |

Yes, this is likely an indication that either the GPU or the VRAM is beyond all reasonable limits.
If you continue to operate the card in those extreme regions, destruction of it is possible any time ::) |

I agree with Falconfly, try lowering your frequencies. I presonally always had my clocks to the default frequencies. 166Mhz? ???
