Just wondering what ignition uses for API, I believe the 3dfx version came later, but was API did the normal version use? Directx 5 or something?

the standard game uses software rendering (I think directx5 just like you said)..I can dig out the cd if necessary..the 3dfx version uses glide2x,and works fine on all 3dfx cards..unfortunately,the resolution (when using the 3dfx exe) is locked to 640*400 (yes,thats not a typo)..

Software rendering? Why would the minimum reqs be Directx5 then?
It's got quite a few rendering options to choose from though, which can't be run on software can it?
