Milla kicks ass especially in that last scene where she gets out of the hospital almost naked and grabs a shotgun .. the only thing missing in that scene is the ever-so-famous line: "C'mon.. make my day"

If you read the article on the new film - you'll find out that Milla's carachter "Alice" has been genetically enhanced for the new film! She has super strength and can kick even MORE butt! Was there only one Resident Evil game for the PC? I know there was a series of them for the PSX, but I only remember seeing one for the PC? I can't really remember, it was such a long time ago. Undecided

I remember having the demo and playing it, but cannot remember if it supported Glide or not? ???

Would be nice to go back and play this game on a 3dfx system, for sure.

Hi,

there are several Resident Evil games for PSX, PS2, Saturn, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. For the PC, there are three conversions from PSX's RE1, RE2 and RE3: Nemesis. The first one supports both Glide and D3D, but at 640x480x16 fixed resolution and with prerendered backgrounds (original support for Voodoo Graphics only, even Voodoo2 needed a patch), so no way to improve graphics with high-end 3dfx cards, unless FSAA works in RE1. I never tried it in that game, but FSAA didn't work fine in RE3, it created some graphical glitches. However, those glitches seemed to follow vertical and horizontal patterns, maybe due to an OGSS issue. Perhaps RGSS (or even conventional multisampling) would avoid that issue.

Yup, I'm about as Die-Hard as Resi fans go! 8)

I own most of the games in the list (bar the gun survivor ones - which are P4NTS!) Tongue

The only ones from the list I haven't got are: -

#Resi Gun Survivor 1+2 [PSX / PS2]
#Resi Outbreak (online) 1+2 [PS2] - might get these if they do a USA or UK release...but ONLY if they're STILL online,
#Biohazard CV Complete [DC] - I'll get this when I've got some cash!
#Resi DC (PVR) [PC] - If ANYONE has seen this on eBay tell me NOW, it's REALLY rare!
#Resi 2+3 [GC] - they are just ports of the PSX versions, blah!
#Resi 4 [GC] - well it's not out YET, duh!

For the record, the MOST difficult version is Resi for Saturn - they REALLY ramped up the difficulty (zombies take TWICE as many shots to die compared to Resi on PSX!!!) Shocked

And any film with Milla in it get's my vote! Grin
