Help with a Playstation 2 issue, if possible.

Not sure where to post this but here goes.

OK, I have MLB 08 The Show for my PS2.  What I want are roster updates, but what I can't do is go online with it.  It has the ethernet adapter built in, but I do not have high speed net, so no go there.  Does anyone know of a site (please don't say Operations Sports Forums, tried to register there, something went wrong with the validation email, so I can't do squat there right now) a site where I can get updates?  Is it possible to download them to a flash drive or the like and plug it into my ps2?

I know this isn't the usual stuff to ask here but this is one of the best and most informative forums i know of, so I thought I'd try here anyways.

Online support for PS2 was terminated long aso as far as I know. If you know a site that might have the update you need please don't tell me that one email error stopped you... I cannot believe that.

Man: yahoo.com, gmail.com, live.com, etc. There's so many sites where you can make FREE email accounts and use them for registering to sites...

I have a free email account at Hotmail.  I've registered at countless forums, and every one of them, when I did so, the activation email got to me.  This one did not.  Not in my junk, not anywhere.  I've tried emailing their feedback email address for help, which they ask you to do if you have issues, but have heard not a single word  back from them.

They have a good roster update best I can see.  All I really need from it are some of the players that were added to the 40man MLB rosters mid year, or the next year, RA Dickey, Even Longoria and others.  But only way I can d/l it is to register..  The issue is that it IS an older game now so there aren't many sites hosting updates for it and the one other one I saw that was, was only for PS3, and was posed so long ago that the file hosting site no longer has the file.

But I would still like to know this?  How can I get them to my PS2 if I get the file?  Is it possible to download them to a flash drive or the like and plug it into my ps2?

They finally sent me the activation codes after about two weeks of waiting.  Now the issue is that I need Action Replay Max EVO and a compatible flash drive.  Think I'm just gonna leave it for now. too much of a pain.
