joda YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 15 Gender:	Age of Wonders - Shadow Magic & AmigaMerlin 3. 21.09.04 at 16:30:32 won' t run (under xp, sp1, dx 9.0b) after starting the game - surprise - a bluesreen with the info: problem ...blablabla... in 3dfxvs.dll . then i have to restart. age of wonder - shadow magic is a 2d-game!!! any solutions?

Turn off Direct3D in aowSMSetup.exe. -Turn off DirectSound in aowSMSetup.exe. -Turn off Resolution Switches in aowSMSetup.exe. -Switch the desktop to 16-bit color. yes to all!!!

and i don't want to try the AmigaMerlin 2.5SE for XP - i don't like to use various graphic-drivers for various games.
