I feel like I am never going to game again in my life. One day I download the newest, best driver for Voodoo3 (amigamerlin3) and it works on a game, next day I want to play a different game and it wont work....I'm going to have to buy a new computer.   

I played black and white, no problems. I try to play Never Winter Nights, no go, not happening. I even just tried to play this poncy little golf game and it told me that it couldn't enable 3d scenery! WHAT? I dont get it, someone help me out here; is it my drivers? my Voodoo card? Some other problem that my ickle brain cant detect.

I'm getting desparate.    ???

When I place the opengl32.dll file into the game folder (as required by mesafx_0.51) the game wont load, it takes ages to do anything, then an xp error report is processed.

I copied the glide3x.dll file into the system32 folder aswell.

When I delete the opengl32.dll file from the game folder the game does load, but all I have is a white screen....very pretty!!! Then when I return to my desktop my wallpaper is gone, everytime I load it up.

Is it me being thick?

P.S. Is Nev Win Nights worth playing anyway? if its pap, I can save all this trouble and use it to fuel the fire!

I think that it isn´t work because the mesafx 0.51 isn´t fully compatible with opengl 1.2 in voodoo3.
Try the file which it´s in this page and tell us if it works (It´s a file called opengl32.dll and you have to use it like the one in mesafx)

No go people. I'm supposed to copy the file into my system32? Yes?

When I do, it immediately reverts back to the old opengl.dll file. 600k not 4.09mb, why is this?

Still just get a white screen! Do you think its my version of NWN?

Is there another way i can test if i have it working rather than testing it on NWN?

When I put OPENGL32.dll in the game folder, NWN doesn't load at all and tells me that MSVCRTD.dll was not found.

i'll keep trying different folders within the main folder.

Any ideas?

Just have some patience, Daniel is working on the problem with NWN, at least this is what I read over at www.3dfxzone.it
