Post by m14radu on 27.01.07 at 17:01:08

Hi everybody,

Since i'm also a 3dfx collector, i would like to hear from you whitch is the best method to store the collection.
Actually i used small boxes, and for the future a 3dfx furniture is planned. If somebody have self made a furniture for the 3dfx collection, i would like to see some pics  ;D

IKEA isn't that expensive Exxe ::) but does have the best idea's of doing ;)

For instance I use their IKEA Verinne Glasstop Table, imho it's a much nicer way to display your collection in the living room for example :)

The table was a nice 289 Euro's but it's surely worth it ;)
Normally I have the boxes in IKEA Vitrines that hang on the wall , but that's gonna change , gonna make a 5 metre glass wall vitrine and place them all in there :) Since my bedroom in my new hom has a lenght of 5,15 metres :) a nice 3dfx wall mount would be exell;ent, the celling is about 2,65 metres in height so not too shabby :)

this is my solution:

A CD store for 540CDs (with glass front). Available in lots of colors..
Can store up to 50 3dfx Cards. Cost 99Euro for each (on the image there are stacked two of them)

hehe that rooster is from McDonalds. Its an alarm clock with rooster sound. it has a built in shock sensor, you have to throw it away to turn it off... but after 10minutes it sounds again like a rooster  ;D

Well, I don't own that many either - remember that it's not the SIZE of your collection that matters... ::)

...what matters is that you are part of the 3Dfx community! ;)

Now THATS important! ;D
