Title: OpenGL games list... Post by paulpsomiadis on 05.03.07 at 17:55:44
In response to the GLiDE games list, I think it would be also useful to have a list of OpenGL games. :)
Either ones that are OGL only, or can be run in many API interfaces...(i.e. have an OGL 'mode' also) ;) I will edit this post as other people add to the list... 8) OGL GAMES LIST BEGINS ================= Quake series (1,2,3,4) Doom 3 + Addon pack Prey Unreal Series (Unreal, U.T., 2K3, 2K4) DeusEx Bloodrayne Star Wars Games (JK - Jedi Outcast, JK - Jedi Academy) Descent Games (Descent, Descent 2 / Infinite Abyss, Descent 3 Retribution / Mercenary) Heretic 2 Falcon 4.0 Flanker 2.0 Hexen 2 Half Life Series (HL 1, Blueshift, OP-Force, HL2, HL2-EP1) RTCW Sin Series (Sin, Sin-EP1) ================= I know I'm missing LOADS, but this is just to start things off... ::) Please help me add to the list! ;) ==edit== list updated as of 06/03/07 |

I started up Kingpin, The original Half-Life, and Duke nukem Manhattan project on a Nvidia fx6200 with 256mb. They seem to run good. On a side note. What the hell is up with all the different nvidia cards? I looked for a half an hour trying to find my card on the internet and I couldnt find it. I found alot of 6200 cards. But none of them were the same as the one I have. Man, Ive been out of the loop for awhile. lol. This stuff used to be alot simpler.

What do you mean? If it's just for a driver, go to nVidia.com, and download the driver, easy. :) |

I tried to go on nvidia's website and download it. But my browser doesnt like their site. I couldnt find it anywhere else either. I went on ebay to see if I could find my card somewhere and I couldnt find another one like it. Jus seems strange. Its no big deal though. I installed the voodoo 3000 and Im much happier with that. Thanks.

nVidia's drivers are unified, it really doesn't matter which brand card you have, they are all more or less the same.
Have you tried using a different browser? |
