Looking to remove 3dfx drivers, does the usual uninstall leave anything behind that might affect a card from another manufacturer?

You mean a card with no 3dfx based chipset? I think the normal uninstall should do the job.

To be save you could use the 3dfx uninstaller V2:

Cool thanks, just looking to test and play around with an ATI card. Will be re-installing 3dfx after.
