I was looking at the "Adaptor Information" from the "Display Properties" and had a few questions. I don't see any mention of secondary Texelfx processors like you would see on the 100-4440. And the frame buffer memory shows 8. The texelfx shows 4 processors with 4 meg each.

I'm hoping this means 8 meg for the Pixelfx per card.
And 16 meg for the texelfx per card.

That would make this a 96 Meg SLI set???

Don't know, it shows what is shows and each card was individually tested under WIN98SE.

All the cards are fine.

I need a ribbon cable and the case connections, those pictures posted are not of my parts. The ribbon cable is easy, it's just a floopy drive cable.

These parts are mine.
I watched them.
Not sure that you would be able to copy them easily.

Yes, they are from your 200SBi auction win.

I have friends who can copy anything, however would need an actual piece on hand to make sure it's done correct. I'm not one to take chances with rare pieces...

But I'd like to have a Mercury that functions rather then a mantlepiece.

I've got the parts that came with my 200SBi stashed away.  I will only ever use my 200SBi as a standard Voodoo2 SLI with attitude (it's blue lit in my windowed case, black 200SBi, black motherboard, black sound card, blue GeForce 6800... well, nobody's perfect...  Grin).  So if you still need those parts then let me know and I'll go and dig my set out.

I won't ever part with my 200SBi so there's no danger of it arriving with the connectors missing for Patience's Mercury project in the future!

I'd like to own a functional merc some day. Gary if your going to the trouble of replicating merc components let me (us) know. It may be in all our best interests to share in the costs and have 5 or 10 made. That is, for the ones of us interested it owning a merc some day.

Pictures of system can be found here-

http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/album48

Missing drive cradle-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5734647425

Missing Motherboard-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5733720057

On Tuesday if there is nothing wrong with the motherboard I should have a fully functioning system returned to OEM Quantum3D "as shipped" condition.

Note- The later green bricks work on BX chipsets, the earlier black bricks do not.

I have the green brick up and cooking GLQuake and Quake 3, trying to get the 4 sample AA working now.

4 sample works as default on Q-test with motion blur and looks sweet! As soon as I can figure out how to get a screenshot I will, the default method doesn't work.

See- http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/album51

None (or I assume none since I did not install any when I loaded the machine with NT4)-

Both GLQuake and Quake3 are opengl.

I'm going to try and find a screenshot utility for NT, the screenshot function is clearly disabled in the Q3 "blur" demo. The Q3 demo at 1024 x 768 with 4 tap AA looks insane.

Dropping the screen resolution to 512 x 240 clearly brings out the AA effect compared to a computer running a V3 with no AA.

Very pretty =)
