:o
Damn, the last change for getting new drivers will be gone, too.
Think I will swap over to Radeon 9700 later this year.

Well, the Team still exists I've heard, and whatever they are doing is being continued.

All that went down the dumps is their public Interface (Website), together with most of their 'reputation'...

But that's another story, and I won't talk about that here ::)

Fragments of the happenings around 3dfxU/3dHq can be found over at the x3dfx Forums, for those that care to read...

My best guess is, that they will (sometime, somewhere) re-emerge as usual. Only question being, when and where...

PS.
Radeon 9700 (or 9500) will be my first choice as well.
From all I've heard and seen from this 'Monster', it is a worthy successor for my Voodoo5 5500 :)

Greetings
FalconFly

Out of respect for FalconFly and the atmosphere, present and future, of this board I won't comment except to say that I, personally, am not a big fan of 3dhq (and previously 3dfx-U) due to someone or other...  ;)

I'd love to see NEW drivers released...but it looks like the Radeon 9700 for me as well.

Yes, Chuckster, I'm hoping that the work of aquoes and the team is in no way dependent upon the functioning of the board(s).  It doesn't seem to be directly linked so perhaps the drivers are safe from the, erm, how shall I put this, confused miasma?  ::)
