You are going to love this.
The guys ends up with 5 voodoo cards air shipped to his door in Canada for $54 for everything (cards and shipping) and is going to piss and moan about the shipping which he agreed too before bidding on the auctions. I'm going to bed. ==================================== Gary Your package arrived late Thursday afternoon after I left so I didn't get it until Friday. I just finished checking them out on my PIII test board and all seems fine. You sure hosed me on shipping though. $19.00 and the sticker on the package was $7.00. Wasn't even a stamp, a crummy sticker. I can see a couple 2 or 3 extra bucks (maybe even 5) for your time to wrap it up and drop it off, but $12 more? Do you think that's reasonable? I realize you saved me a few dollars by putting "Gift" on the package but I sure didn't save that much. The total on all items came to $34.49. $12 is more than a 30% hike on the final price AFTER postage. The duty on that up here was only going to be $5 to collect plus 7%. That's $7.41 . . . . . . Canadian ($5.83US). You could have offerred to refund at least half. I got hosed. Having said all that I didn't pay all that much for 5 cards but that's not the point. I'm not going to be a shit and leave negative feedback. You did give me a quote on shipping and I made the purchase based on that. But after re-reading the e-mails I'm suprised you wanted an extra $6 to ship the last items when the total came to $7. Hosed. It's our Thanksgiving up here this weekend so I'm headed out the door. Later Myke ====================================== Reply- >Wasn't even a stamp, a crummy sticker When you physically drive down to the post office and hand them package they don't whip out a roll of stamps. See attached picture? Box in hands of post office worker on counter, I take pictures of all overseas packages. > I realize you saved me a few dollars by putting "Gift" > on the package but I sure didn't save that much. Correct, which I did not have to do, bear that in mind. > You did give me a quote on shipping and I made > the purchase based on that. The quote was based off USPS website estimates and estimated package weight (It's not like I run the package down to the post office, have them give me an estimate, bring the package back home and e-mail people with a quote) If you were a US bidder, shipping for the three auctions would have come to $20 ($6+6+$8), you paid $19 and I have to fill out custom paperwork not required for US packages AND hand deliver the boxes to the post office 12 miles away. Please explain to me the hosing part again? |

hehe, lol. No, I meant the guy complaining to you and then it all being for nothing! :) Re your statement about your feedback, I totally agree with you. I just wish every other ebayer had the same opinion and principle about it in the same way you do. You do right. |
