Title: What's the going rate for MSI MS6168's nowadays?

My father in law often gets PCs from recycling group, just for fun, and for him to learn about PCs. Once in a while I check if they got anything interesting in them. One of them is a Packard Bell, PIII 600Mhz, 64MB Ram, and a MSI MS6168, with onboard V3-2000.

Just wondering if it's rare or not, I've never really paid attention to onboard 3dfx.

Any idea what he might get for it on eBay?

It's not that rare, I have 2 of them, one is a little hurt from shippment (some clamps for sdr sockets are broken and some pins on the board are bend), the other one is in top shape.

I'd say 10-15 euro is a good price, but you never know what can happen on an ebay auction :)

Ah that's cool anyway. I was quite surprised to see the case, it had a big 3dfx sticker on it. Was like opening up a present.

I know the feeling. I worked a few years ago in a company that used to buy a lot of used PC, check them (to see if they are ok) and resell them. From time to time I found there various "cool" hardware - Voodoo3, Creative AWE32, Number Nine cards...I think that made me start collecting cards. Opening those PCs - exactly like you open an chocolate easter egg in the childhood.
