Title: "msvcrt.dll" file for Voodoo1
Post by LuxKiller65 on 24.04.05 at 16:40:05
What's the purpose of this file (installed when installing the latest Voodoo1 official drivers)?

Windows asked me if I wanted to replace the already existing one with the one given with the drivers. The one with the drivers appears to be older than the one from my system (Windows 98 SE with DirectX 9.0c).

What should I do? Keep the newer one or install the older one (compatibility issues?)?

???

That's true.

Do you know what the file is used for (by Windows and by the Voodoo)?

I think it's better to keep the newest file.

When I test boards I always use the version that came with the drivers.

Are you talking about the Windows one or the one supplied with the drivers (mine's also the same version)?
