well here it is:
http://www.3dfxzone.it/news/puntatore.php?uid=3218 the coolers don't look freaky, nice copper cooling and it has a stable cores/mem 183Mhz opperation :) But I prefer the original coolers or Gary's Prototype Cooler Assembly, though still this is very creative for sure there! here the whole card: Poor Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 :-X |

i really don't like it.
you NEVER have to mod the Queen of Graphics card. (exception is garys 3dfx prototype cooler...) |

All that weight could rip the VSA100 chips away from the pads. That's what Hank thought may have happened to the V6K I got from Logical Madness.

a good air flow in the case and you have the same effect with stock coolers... okay, you could pop them of, replace that ugly glue with arctic silver glue and you'll be fine...

Yes, it looks nice, but isnīt it risky to glue those big copper coolers onto the VSA100 ? I mean those things are really heavy...

I don't think that the weight could just rip those VSAs off, ball grid soldering should be able to take a lot more than that. Just try to rip off the northbridge of an old mainboard, and you'll see how much they can take!

I would suggest that he invest in one of those 3 dollar tail brackets from Gary. Not only do they look cool 8) but they add much needed support in this case ;)

Maybe from Voodoo4 4500's which were lay'n around on ebay, everytime he found a 4500 with a 3dfx sticker he bought it :)
then he used the stickers of thier fans on the 6K's :) unless he made them stickers himself which is also an idea :) |

He tried to sell this card a while back, but no-one bought it... :P
...maybe it's because you'd need a crane to support those d@mn heatsinks! ::) |
