yeps I agree, though the hardware may be very L33T but still the name doesn't match the whole concept, it's like abit too Low thought in terms of by givin a very well known console a good and good name, Revolution would have had a better naming and meaning for what the Nitendo Console really is and therefore more symbollic also and better marketing.

Revolution sounds like things to come, good games, high end console system, something that's going to just rock. Wii sounds more like what my kid talks about when having to go to the bathroom.  :P

It was almost obvious Revolution would've been changed to something else. Just like Ultra64 became Nintendo64, Dolphin became Gamecube, Nitro became DS and so on...

In The Netherlands we call xbox 360 --> NiXBox 360 ;D because it's totally nothing compared to modern day Computing, okay the Graphics are okay on a HDTV screen but the sounds is very poor, I rather choose for better Ultra High End PC Layout than one of those consoles lol.  ::)

Nintendo should of been seen as the God of consoles since that they were one of the first, oh well even thier Mario games do get boring after a while, If I really had to choose it would be a Nintendo for a Console but then again I run a Emulator on the PC and those games are playbale on the PC as well lol.

anyways I must admit I'm  not a Console lover oh well those things will never beat PC specs anyways.

Yeah, it's simple... Both of you are right :) I like to play with platform or puzzle games on consolle but i prefere to play with pc...
Onestly the only consolle that gave me a lot of fun is Nes...

that IS a FACT, simply that consoles are designed with computers and without computers the softwatre of consoles can't be written or even patched, and for games deffintly PC's out class, outperfom consoles with ease.

anyways to get back ontopic the new name Wii does sound like unprofessional indeed like we all agree, well we'll see how it will do in the market as it's performance in games also ;D

Revolution would of sounded more professional, but since Consoles are morely used by children the name might sell better in that range.

though you must do what you feel is best ofcourse, the PC's shall allways prevail, since you need PC's to design consoles, if you ask for facts you get them head on.

Anyways everyone has thier PWN things, they like thier consoles and some of us prefer a PC like I do.
