Anyone know of a newer co-op multi-player game. It seem that everthing is deathmatch these days. The last game I played that had a cooperative mode was Serious Sam and it wasn't all that great. Fun for a while!

Well, UT2003 has Bombing Run and CTF, UT2004 introduced Onslaught as Coop Modes.
I also loved Unreal2 - XMP, which was before UT2004 shipped with the somewhat similar Onslaught.
The best, true Coop experience I ever had, was playing the Unreal 1 campaign in a LAN with several friends.

We did have a few LAN partys with UNREAL. That was great!! I have Unreal2, I'll have to look into XMP. It would be nice to get together with my buds again for some good ole Co-op gaming. And there's always CTF. Anything with at least Team effort, that way no personal friend has to go home feeling like a total loser.

that was really wacko indeed, i did that once with 8 people , we were like a little army, I was a flak boy, like may other mat mate, Ace, we had two snipers and 2 rocket boys, and one ASMD dude and one heavy Machine gunner, that created a nice team of 8 great soldiers.

I did check that one out when it was first release. I should revisit it.

..system shock2 has a kick@ss co-op.played with my bro',it was great.they are not making many good co-ops nowadays, todays games must be simple so xbox kiddies can bash buttons with ease.just got my hands on deus ex2,after 5 minutes of playing it was like
what the hell did they do to my favourite game
.the game is just retarded.in the old days you had to use your own imagination cause the graphics were simplier (the best graphics is your brain
) but games were great, today every game has super-cool graphics but they are usually, hmm, lets say
intelectually
flawed (just stupid).bah.

I liked Deus Ex the orginal game. Some one gave me the new one "Invisible War". It was bundled with a Video card 2 CDs. I think it the full version. Is this the one you did not like? I haven't even installed it yet.

There is a texture pack to improve the textures for Invisible War...
...but @Psycho47 has a point - the original DeusEx IS and always will be BETTER than the sequel!

just finished deus ex iw.one friendly advice (mainly for those who really liked the first game): do yourself a favor, and STAY AWAY FROM THIS SH!T!!!
its not worth one buck.if you can borrow it from a friend (like I did),you can check it out just to see how sequels shouldnt be made.too bad the dvd is not mine,'cause I would like to smash it to tiny pieces and burn it and flush that toxic waste down the drain.I'll probably reformat the whole pc just to make sure everything iw related is purged.I dont really understand how is someone able to like something on this game,I simply hated everything.awful.I just wish ion storm would went down before releasing this..thing.it is just an insult to the original game..

I'll take your word on it.
No sense in installing it. Sounds like a complete waste of time.
