Title: C&C Renegade on voodoo5 Post by Blazkowicz on 04.07.03 at 03:54:31 first, here's my rig : Asrock K7VT2 Duron 700 384 MB SDRAM PC133 Voodoo5 5500 Windoze 98SE, amigamerlin 2.9 renegade works fine on my geforce2 MX but on voodoo I'm experiencing clipping bugs : there are invisible polygons ( the whole weapond are invisible), some transparent textured walls (look great, hehe) and a "wall hack" effect (So I can see were the enemies are hiding :D) Any ideas? This is a DirectX 8.0 game, BTW poorly designed (I'm getting very high framerates but slowdowns randomly occur, at about 10fps) due to directX 8 compatibilities issues (I assume), I'm screwed. (and the game looks like it has been made in 1998 :P) I tried 3D analyze with TnL emulation but this doesn't change a thing thanx |

Last thing I heard is also, that 3D Analyzer has a "3dfx Fix Flickering" Option, which apparently fixes a smiliar Problem some people have.
Might be worth giving a shot ( http://www.tommti-systems.de ). |

the "voodoo flicker fix" has no effect and alt-tabbing solved the problem, but for less than a second :D it's funny to see how close the voodoos were tu be fully supported I'm gonna try the Nu now |

lol, the game works fine thanks to NuDrivers and alt-tab ;) :-*
these drivers are great anyway :) I just have to solve a HUD texture problem in half-life now :D, toying with miniGL and ICDs ... |
