Apart from WinXP, actually no.

If the Card is not overheating, the error is buried 'somewhere', could be any of the System's Drivers.

I assume Chipset and latest Sound Drivers were installed, as those can be a big source of trouble if not up-to-date.

Do you have ACPI Enabled in the Bios ?
If no, that should be enabled in order to allow WinXP to assign virtual IRQ's and ease the Device handling.

My ram goes empty more quicker with 98SE then XP P.S I reinstllaed Whole computer so 98SE is now on again
