Wow! That's pretty darn cheap, even if it is homemade. Most people here (collectors) would prefer the genuine Q3D cable.

That's a lot of soldering. 26 pins on a medusa.

I made a cable to eliminate the need for a Mercury I/O Connector. It's a flat ribbon cable (floppy style) that connects to the top of the AAlchemy card and goes to a 26 pin female connector that attaches to the medusa cable. It works great! took a couple of hours to build and the assistance of gdonovan for the pinouts. At the time I didn't have a case and the needed connector for my (patience) mercury.

Any "Brick" owners out there that want this cable $20.00 USD + shipping as I no longer have use for it.

I don't know if Edmundoab has any (spare) but I'm out. I kept one for my 200SBi. I have the wiring diagram if you want to make one. I have all the parts to make one but I'm here to tell you, it is a lot of work. I was planning to make one but after soldiering a 26 pin Mercury I/O cable for the Medusa during the "Mercury Project", I sort of lost interest. Then I stumbled across a small cache of them while building the Mercury. With computer_md selling them (the genuine Q3D) on ebay. I didn't feel they had much value, much less a homemade one. Your post came as a complete surprise to me and I saw it as on opportunity to sell one. The response was overwelming. $20.00 USD was a fair price, same as computer_md. I ship a little cheaper I guess I feel sort of bad, I thought I got you hooked up. Would you like the wiring diagram?

kind of a ripoff then, he should of put the Medusa cable with the package , would of been a neater service.

yeps, I had the same thing with my Canopus Pure 3D 6MB PCI with Composite TV-Out & S/Video-Out.
