Except for modifying the monitor.inf manually, he should try PowerStrip (or comparable Custom Resolution Utilities).

Hmm, this sometimes works - but be careful to check your syntax before you use the edited .Inf file... ;) As for apps like 'Powerstrip' - they can also be problematic. ::) Just try it out and see what works for you. :) But be SURE to set a restore point before you mess with the system! :o |

hmm I have the same problem as well my Wide Screen 16:10 Acer TFT has a max reso of 1440 c 900 x32 , exellent for flight sims :) also have Flightsims for my VoodooMAC 5500 it's the second VGA :)
since I read the Monitor aspect ratio's on the 5500 boxes the PC ones as the MAC ones, the cards do support 4:3 like 1600 x 1200, 5:4 like 1280 x 1024, 16:9 like 1920 x 1080 and 16:10 like 1920 x 1200 and 1440 x 900. but is there a driver I should be using to support these 16:10 reso's because with AmigaMerlin 3.1 R11 no success here. |

the only way how to fix this is keep bugging SFFT about adding custom resolutions to the driver, and I hate to do that..
