A little bit of offtopic, but still:
On the very first picture you show an SB50 card together with some CD.
So my question is: is this CD an original one? How could a new post-STB 3dfx logo be placed on it given its probable production year?
If it is, could you please make an ISO image and upload it here? I guess that would make an awesome addition to the download section of the site!

I had not noticed that :D

There's a text file on the cd called contents.txt, in it this is written;

Quote:
1) 3Dfx reference win 95/98/.Me drivers.

2) Game demos included with Quantum3D products.

3) DirectX 3

4) DirectX 5

5) DirectX 9

6) Driver for MGV 2D daughtercard (100SB boards only)

7) Linux drivers

8) 3Dfx mini GL driver for GLquake engine games.

9) Last Quantum3D Win_9x drivers (NOTE! Control panel not present with some single board cards)

10) Quantum3D utilites.

11) Windows NT4 drivers.

12) Win XP drivers (2 different third party sets)

Oh, I guess that is a custom made CD.

Yeah, looking closely at the paint on the cd, I think it is. Never took note of it though.

Yes, it was one of mine.

I think I had purchased a few dozen Obsidian boards from Datapath in England and sold them on Ebay at one time. All the hardware was brand spanking new. I cleaned out every single Quantum3D board they still had on the shelf.
