maare dit is geen GoT Wink en als we duimpjes moeten gebruiken dan hoor ik dat geliever van een beheerder, niet zo gaan zeuren hierover. das niet echt aangenaam Wink

anyways I don't think thumbs is a must here, since my pics are 800 x 600 and not bigger Wink

I think that a V4 4XXX with TV&DVI must  have a name different to the conventional V4 4500.  Perhaps not like V4 4800 but if with other name, right?

About my 4500@4800 SHPED-L. I know other guy with the same card. The bios shows it like a V4 4800. Very WEIRD!

And I don't know why 3dfx would call the card Voodoo4 4800, but this is a V4 4800 PCI, it was on ebay also once. and these photo's are those photo's I saw at ebay that time.

Well, I am in contact with the guy owner of the V4 4800 sold on eBay. This card has a wrong bios. This card has 32Mb DVI&TV-OUT and the card boots like a V4 4800 and support to LCD but this bios has not support to TV-OUT. I have checked it with my card!

Regards,
Oscar

The Mac card with DVI does not, it's still called a 4500 even though it is for a Mac and has DVI.

Yeah, in the US it might be called the same as the PCI version but here in Europe it's called the 'VoodooMAC 4500 PCI'.

I've updated the Napalm & Daytona list, see the last post on page 1.

it's called a Voodoo4 4500 PCI for Macintosh to be clear on USA model and here in the European Union it's called a VoodooMAC 4500 PCI but yes indeed it's the same card, only the boxes are alot different from each other Wink For the Cards, just some Voodoo4 4500 PCI's with a DVI and 32 megs of 166Mhz 6ns SDRAM and nothing else.

To prevent this topic from going totally offtopic, I'll post the list again. Please, only discuss the cards which are purple and green. Thank you.

Blue
= Confirmed
Purple
= Confirmed, missing/uncertain specifications
Green
= Uncertain, could or could not exist
* = see note about this card

Napalm:
-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4000 VSA-100 AGP ??MHz 16MB SDR
*

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 PCI 166MHz 32MB SDR

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 PCI 166MHz 32MB SDR DVI

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 PCI 166MHz 32MB SDR DVI/TV out

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 PCI 166MHz 32MB SDR DVI (Mac)

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 AGP 166MHz 32MB SDR

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 AGP 166MHz 32MB SDR L-Card
(
Boots as; V4 4800
)
-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4500 VSA-100 AGP 166MHz 32MB SDR DVI/TV out

-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4800 VSA-100 AGP 166MHz 64MB SDR

* Card exists but which core it has is argued about.
I believe it has a VSA-100 core since it's on a photograph with VSA-100 only cards. See here.

Daytona:
-
IBM Voodoo 4-2 4200 VSA-101 PCI 143MHz 16MB DDR DVI

-
3dfx Voodoo 4-2 4?00 VSA-101 PCI 143MHz 32MB DDR DVI

-
3dfx Voodoo 4-2 4?00 VSA-101 AGP 143MHz 32MB DDR TV out

-
3dfx Voodoo 4-2 4?00 VSA-101 AGP 143MHz 32MB DDR DVI/TV out
*

* Questioning this card's existence.
There are two Napalm versions (AGP/PCI) which have DVI & TV out.
Might have confused the AGP version for this one?

Unknown:
-
3dfx Voodoo 4 4?00 VSA-100 AGP ??MHz ??MB SDR DVI

-
3dfx Voodoo 4-2 4?00 VSA-101 PCI 143MHz ??MB DDR TV out
*
-
3dfx Voodoo 4-2 4?00 VSA-101 AGP 143MHz ??MB DDR DVI
*

* Thinking out loud; are there PCI TV out and AGP DVI Daytona's?

Voodoo4-2 4200 PCI 32MB VSA-101 core FalconFy has this card and yes it run's at 143Mhz, that is a fact.

they even tested that card at Hardwhere Tweaker.de once and even there they said it runs at 143Mhz, that it has a VSA-101 core and 32MB DDR 64.Bit. and yes it has a DVI.

If you don't believe me ask FalconFly himself Wink

The one I have is 32 MB DDR, and I think it has the wrong bios as it states it is a 4200.

I doubt both the 16MB and 32MB boards are called 4200 and one of the other board members has a 32MB board and it ID's as a 4800.

If I remember right the 32 MB VSA-101 FF owns does not function and had damage to the DVI connector.

Hard to make a statment on what a card is clocked at if the darn thing doesn't run, FF can correct me if I'm wrong.

He owns a 16MB card that does function and yes the 16MB boards run at 143 mhz.

Since my Daytona with the damaged DVI looks pretty bad and doesn't even have a passive Cooler, I can't tell exactly (looks like a 32MB DDR Variant though)
