Hi,
According to the Book that come with the card, there should the 5 Variants of this card:
CV350 / CV350 - TV ( the common versions )
CV350A / CV350A - TV
CFXN ( The L card )
I did not find these cards with the Capitall Letter "A" !?!
I posted here a pics from the book:
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/v/3dfx_collectors/m14radu/3dfx+Boxes/P1010073.JPG.htm...
According to the picture in the book, these cards with Letter "A" have other position for the Bios Chip.
Is this the only difference ?

Radu.

With the Voodoo 3 cards, the 350 models were clocked at 166MHz and the 350A models at 183MHz.
Perhaps Powercolor had something similar in mind for the V4. Though I've never seen retail 183MHz Voodoo 4 cards.

heh this pictures baffles me as well
T-Buffer effects on a Voodoo4 heh yeah right! never seen that in action before heh! I thought that effect was impossible on the V4 cards since that SLI was needed to utilize that feature!

Retail Boxes often had errors in their description, so that wouldn't surprise me, especially on new Hardware being Boxed and advertised for the first time.

Maybe they were plan to be develop but they came never out on the market.

nope, just checked my voodoo4 and it is the CV350 - TV
it has 6ns ram, so mine's the 166Mhz version I guess.
btw, where can I find the pcb version on the Evilking4 card?? or does the pcb version only go for built by 3DFX cards??
