I have a dead 12MB Diamond V2 with the bracket. I will only ask just a little over what it costs to ship the bracket. (let me know if you want the card also) PM me with your address, etc, so that we can get an accurate shipping quote.

**Edit** - Good bye dead v2 bracket. (if it wasnt bad enough that you had to die, now I'm scrappin you out)

The spacing for the video connectors are too close for my STB card. So with that said let me know if you have a dead STB V2 12MB card or any other V2 card other then Diamond or creative as i'm guessin those 2 wont fit.

I am almost 100% sure that everything will work out with this card/bracket. WOW!.... WOW! The card is trashed.. and i doubt it had anything to do with the fact that he sent it in an envolope.

Would'nt care if the bracket was the right one, but its not.. The card has a creative labs sticker on the back.. dont know if its the original lable or not.

The bracket is the exact same i already got from Rottentreats. The vid ports are close together and not wide apart like the one i need for my STB V2 card.

Heres the email to the guy on ebay... Oh i forgot to mention all the scratches i also see all over the card. Roll Eyes

He stated the card as slightly used but perfect condition.

I can't stand the cheating bastards on ebay that will charge you $10-12 for shipping on a video card and then it shows up in an envelope. I've been VERY lucky to not have one of these show up broken. But, I will leave negative feedback if I pay $10 for USPS Priority Mail shipping and the item shows up with only $1.75 of first class postage on it. I hope you get your money back.

Damn man, sorry to hear things did not work out with that one. Hopefully they fully refund your $$, if not, just start an eBay dispute with them because the item received was significantly different than the item described in the auction. They stated it was a 3dfx Voodoo2 1000, which is exactly what you needed, but not what you received. If they are unwilling to comply with your needs I guess just leave NEG feedback and move on. I would think they are reasonable human beings, as most are. (and now you dont have to worry about getting retaliatory neg feedback, Sellers cannot leave negative or neutral feedback anymore, JUST Positive

On a side note I have another dead V2. (except this time it is a 8MB Diamond Monster II version) But that wont help you because we have already ruled out Diamond cards as compatabile.

Dont sweat it Rotten. You were only trying to help... Also i found use for the PCI bracket you sent me. I noticed i needed to replace the broken PCI bracket on my Diamond 8MB V2 card Wink

Good as new now.

Now if i can only get my money back with the guy thats not in a hurry to respond to my emails. Well i did get a response the following day ofcourse. All he said was heres my number and give me a call and we'll try to work this out.

Now obviously i'm in no hurry to call long distance but looks like i'm gona have to since i've got no resonse to my past 2 emails.

No reply by the end of today i'll be giving him a ring on my wifes cell phone tomorrow as since at work all day today. Long distance is cheap on the cell so..

I might get pissed if i dont get a resonse and do what i did in the past when i get impatiant and just slap the negitive feedback for some motivation.

Well i just recieved a V2 STB card off of ebay.. Again, the guy sent it in a cardbaord envolope. Sad

Damaged as theres 2 broken off tiny resistors near the Gold PCI Connector and the BIG 1.. Its an 8MB card and not a 12MB card! lol! Mem chips only on one side... Got a love my luck!

2 times i buy a v2 card off ebay and both times i'm buying junked cards and both times the seller has no idea there bad!

Now the last 1 said "as is, but pulled from a working system" Guess not.. I did not find any tiny resistors floating around in the packaing.. Would be pretty hard not to find as he had the card sealed in plastic.

THANK GOD I BOUGHT A Bracket off of gdonovan and its on the way!

I hopefully will either get my money back again for this card or send it back for refund.
