What toolset/drivers are you trying to install?

Yes, 3dfx Tools can be installed (needs to be one taken from a Win2000 Driver package).

Install > ignore errors > don't reboot when prompted > Install again (choose "Repair" Install Option)

That (usually) worked for WinXP.

I'm having the same problem under Windows 2000 and nothing seems to make it work (topic in Drivers section)!
