Hi,

does anyone know how to enable glide render in fifa 99 with a voodoo 5500?

In my 3500TV I installed the v.1.11 patch and after that the 3d setup by EA detected corectly the 3500 and so I got glide up n running (in future cop too...looks like something had to do with the setup utility :)), but in the 5500 this didn't work :(

I m answering to my self (lol) but it seams this is not posible. After some reg digging I foung some strings for the render engine and the resolution. In fifa99 the resolution string din't obay and kept giving 640x480 and the glide string (voodoo2) gave corupted gfx. On the contrary it worked for FutureCop. I cant have it all I guess :(

hmm give MesaFX a shot mate :) might do just the trick :)

here's the stablest version:
MesaFX 6.2.0.2 OpenGL32.dll

You need my Fifa99 3D patch!

Go to http://fifa.galahs.com.au and download the version for Fifa99 ;)

You can choose to run it under Glide (3dfx) or Direct3D and it enabled Glide on all Voodoo cards.
