Interesting! And I just picked up another too. Well that explains who the maker of the mystery cards was. I just opened my boxed EvilKing 2 and is is the same PCB but dated early 99, I should have noticed. |

The only downside of this card it the memory. What brand is it???? I remember that in the beginning days of the V2 there where certified V2 memory suppliers like Silicon Magic en Elite MT. But I have to say the newer logo's look kind of nice.

So far I have yet to see a single Powercolor V2 that did come with one, but I have seen a number of cards (different brands) that people added them on after purchase. One unique card doesn't make a very good statistic. |

yes I must say the condition of the boxes are really good.
I need better luck to find better condition boxes.. oh, which reminds me also, I need to stay away from moron sellers who don't ship an item in another box ( sarcasm =) ) gary, you happen to have a spare Voodoo 4 4500 PCI for Mac ( brown box ) that you are willing to sell to me ? since you have so many spare Voodoos, thought I'd just ask you. ;) |

Yes, they are very nice boxes! Quote:
Wish I could help you out, but no I don't have a spare boxed (us) Mac 4500. It was the wildest stroke of dumb luck I found that one google searching the web :P I do have a boxed MaxiGamer that might be up for grabs soon, thinking of pairing down a few of the extras. |

Hi guys!
I hope this is appropriate topic to discuss my following questions: Someone can help me to identificate this voodoo2? I cheked model number at falconfly.de but to 600-0027-02(-B) correspond Hercules Stingrey, but i don't think it is right....My card seems to be a powercolor but i am not sure of this.....I think that it is built by powercolor and commercialized by "Ensoniq" (check it at http://www.3dfx.cz/voodoo2.htm scroll voodoo2 table, and see picture...); what do you say about? |
Title: Re: Evilking 2 SLI OVP and Bruce looks different : Post by gdonovan on 10.01.05 at 00:11:55
Looks like a Powercolor V2.
If you can please make the pictures a tad smaller. |
Title: Re: Evilking 2 SLI OVP and Bruce looks different : Post by goriath on 10.01.05 at 01:17:14
Picture's format was the same of OutOfRange's pictures at first page of this topic (1280x960).......
Any way, exchange is done. Would be, my card, a powercolor commercialized by "Ensoniq"? Like this >>> http://www.3dfx.cz/voodoo2/v2_ensoniq_prototype.jpg |
