Hi,i'm using winxp and amigamerlin 3.0 on my v5500,and i get this strange problem whenever i start windows the destop is always overbright and can be only fix by entering the 3dfx control panel but the problem now is i can't install the control panel.So is there anyway that i can solve both problems(3dfx control panel and the overbright destop).

have you tried turning down the brigness on the monitor? just a suggestion. also, did you follow the directions when u intalled AM3.0 and delete the registry key, and run the setups in the appropriate order?
