i ve played nfs hp2 with a v3 3000 agp. with minimum car details, only the tires are without textures. setting the car details higher there is any texture on the car.  

another thing: i do not like how the engines behave. they accelerate without emotion. c

do someone know if the retail game has has better 3dfx support? c

I didn,t try it, but I don't think so... The demo was released when the game had already gone gold, so the demo is probably the same as the real game (with less races)
