shiping prices
17.09.05 at 21:13:41
Just thought i'd share a little experience i had this weekend.
i went to ship some vsa retail boxes to a friend who is far away and went to my local post-it store, the lady said it couldnt be sent by u.s. post office because the box was to long, so it had to go fedx, the price she quoted without tracking was 550.00, with tracking over 700.00, i asked if that was right and she checked again and said it was,,,, so i left...went to local u.s.post office and i shipped it today (4 vsa boxes in one big box) with insurance for ....32.85....now i know the other place was a retail store but what a f***ing ripe off.
everyone have a great day.

Those little mom and pop shipping places always charge more than if you take it direct to USPS FedEx or UPS. But in this case I'd say this lady was way off base.

thing is ive used them before because there right by me but i asked her if it was right and its no mom and pop its a chain store, she said it was so much because of the boxes length(17 inches i think) she wanted me to fold the retail boxes in half to save money, i was like no f***ing way, i was gone after that, im gonna go by there later after i get drunk and talk to someone else about those prices

By the time you get lit-up they'll be closed. I shipped from the UPS Store. They close at 5:30 after the truck comes by for the pick-up. Most of those places are open 8:30-5:30 If it's a chain.

Have shipping prices raised up somewhere by the way?
Here in Luxembourg, prices for a "maxi letter" (900mm max, 300 max for X, Y and Z dimensions), price wnet from 4 Euro to 6 Euro (50% more d*amn!).
I guess it's because of oil...
